About College

Loknete Hon. HanmantraoPatil Charitable trust's Adarsh College, Vita was established in 21st June, 1999. The college has passed the age of 25 years with increasing merit. The college offers three years degree courses in B.A., B.Com. B.C.A. and B.Sc. and conducts the centrefor distance education of Shivaji University, Kolhapur and Study Centre of YCMOU, Nashik. Besides, the college conducts three PG courses in Hindi, Economics and History. The college has started various add on, Skill based and certificate courses. The Students are offered variety of programs and elective options are available for their major subjects.

The students of the college enthusiastically participate in different extracurricular activities organized by the university and other institutions. The achievement of the collegeat state level and in the zonal and inter-zonal level is noteworthy. The management and the faculty of the institute support always to the students in participating cultural and sports events at different levels. In terms of academic achievement the college has distinctive record. Many students get merit scholarship of the university. The college has 2 NSS units of 200 volunteers. The NSS unit conducts various programs of social change organizing various awareness rallies regarding environment, Gender Equity, Voter Awareness, Water Conservation, Plantation, Health and Hygiene, Women Empowerment etc.

The performance of the college is very well reflected in its curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular programs and activities. The college and the staff is honestly trying to embrace advanced education, information and communication technology, art, culture and sports and harness the human potential in the process of nation building. The societal needs are well defined goals and the dynamics of academic, research and extension activities. Outreach programs, NSS activities, Cultural programs including organization of University Sports events at university, zone and Inter-zone level, Academic results is a distinct achievement. Our sincere effort has also proved that the quality and value-based education is possible.
